Lillian Wu's Biography
Take some architectural know-how, landscape knowledge, artistic influence and skills, customers are ready for the landscaping expertise of Lillian Wu.
Most homeowners are too busy to worry about temperamental plants, they want low-maintenance yet functional garden spaces, because that's the lifestyle of many people these days.
Lillian is dedicated to taking the time to listen to a client's needs and making suggestions to help them arrive at exactly the kind of setting they want. Her objective is to create an environment that will suit the lifestyle of that particular homeowner. She strives for both esthetique and ecological balance by analyzing the site and also by designing with imagination and feeling, and is conscious of protecting our natural resources by conserving water and preserving the land from runoff and erosion. The knowledge is based on 30 some years of experience, and knowing what the client needs and being able to fit the design into their budget.
Her company offers residential design services. She will provide consultation for an hourly fee or go ahead and map out the entire landscape. Fees can be arranged either on an hourly scale or in a lump sum.
Wu has a degree in landscape architecture from Cal Poly and a Fine Arts degree from Immaculate Heart College. She is a member of American Society of Landscape Architects, ASLA and a licensed contractor of the California Landscape Contractors Association, CLCA.
